Recife holds one of the largest ship graveyards on the Brazilian coast. Dozens of sunken vessels have formed artificial reefs full of life, now home to schools of fish, seahorses, moray eels and turtles.
Three boat outings to explore the Shipwreck Park and the reefs and rocks along the coast, with warm water and good visibility in summer. The base is the Radisson Hotel Recife, on the seafront at Boa Viagem Beach.
